- Spirometry and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) — to measure how well your lungs move air
- Chest X-ray and CT scan — to visualize lung tissue and structure
- 6-Minute Walk Test — to assess exercise capacity and oxygen levels
- Echocardiogram — to evaluate heart-lung interaction
- Laboratory work — to identify underlying causes and inflammation markers
Eastern Medicine

In 2023, Milos completed full certification in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine — not as a curiosity, but because the evidence supports it as a meaningful complement to conventional care.
Acupuncture has been shown in clinical research to reduce airway inflammation, ease breathlessness, support immune function, and improve sleep quality. We offer traditional needle acupuncture, electroacupuncture, and auricular (ear) acupuncture — each technique selected based on your individual needs.
Chinese herbal medicine and natural supplements have been used for thousands of years to support lung health, reduce mucus, fight inflammation, and boost immunity. We integrate these thoughtfully alongside — never instead of — proven medical therapies.
These services are available to all patients and can be combined with any pulmonary treatment plan.

What a Personalized Plan Looks Like

No two patients are the same. A 58-year-old with COPD and a 17-year-old with exercise-induced asthma need fundamentally different care — even though both involve the lungs.

Your plan at Advanced Pulmonary Care might include:

A rescue inhaler and a maintenance inhaler, plus weekly acupuncture to reduce airway reactivity
CPAP therapy for sleep apnea alongside herbal supplements to improve sleep quality
Sublingual immunotherapy for allergies plus dietary and lifestyle adjustments
Antifibrotic medication for pulmonary fibrosis plus acupuncture for fatigue and quality of life

Who We Serve

We provide integrative pulmonary care for patients aged 12 and up, from adolescents with asthma to elderly patients managing COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, or sleep apnea. We accept all major insurance plans. Acupuncture and herbal medicine services are available on a cash basis with generous discounts for uninsured patients.
